Archie started his journey at Squirrel as a mortgage analyst, giving him a great understanding of how lending works behind the scenes. Before joining the team he worked in luxury car sales, so helping people navigate big purchases and major purchases has always been part of the job.

Now a mortgage adviser, Archie enjoys helping clients turn their property goals into reality — whether it’s buying a first home, an investment, or working through a development project. Alongside his work, he’s currently completing a Bachelor of Applied Management to keep building his knowledge of the industry.

Outside of work you’ll usually find Archie out on the river in a jet boat making the most of the outdoors. Fun fact: he’s surprisingly good at recognising car makes from a distance.

Qualifications

Diploma of Hospitality Management, and NZ Certification in Financial Services.

How Archie is paid

Archie is a salaried adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
