With over 20 years in the finance industry, Ramon brings a diverse range of experience — Asset Finance Broker, KiwiSaver facilitator at Koura Wealth, Insurance Facilitator at Life Direct, and most recently Mortgage Adviser at Loan Market Capital & Coast.
He specialises in residential mortgages and genuinely loves the moment a client gets the keys — and after two decades in the industry, it still gets him every time.
Outside of work you’ll find Ramon on the water or in the hills — fishing, diving, and mountain biking when he’s not firing up the BBQ for a family dinner or planning the next overseas adventure. At home, his rescue dogs run that show — they've claimed the house, the bed, and probably the TV remote. Zero training. Full rein. No regrets (…mostly).

How Ramon is paid
Ramon is a salaried adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
